Aus diesem Satz von vier Marken werden zwei Marken in Kleinbögen zu 8
Marken mit einem Vignettenfeld herausgebracht.
Der Kleinbogen der Gedser Marke zeigt auf der Vignette auf einer
Landkarte den Standort des
Generators und rechts davon die Eisenbahnlinie nördlich von Gedser.

Wind-Power Generators
Post Denmark issued 10. January 2007 four stamps showing wind-power
generators. Two of the stamps are issued in small sheets containing 8 stamps and a stamp with no postal value
(tab) in the midle of the sheet.
Enclosed you can see the sheet with the Gedser wind-power generator build 1957. In the
back ground, on the "stamp" in the midle, is part of a map in scale 1:25000 showing the location of the
generator. On the topographic map is a black line. That line is the railway ca. 2 km north of
Gedser. From Gedser there have been railway ferry connection to Warnemünde in Germany.

Bau der Eisenbahnlinie Oslo - Bergen gebaut und ist heute noch Eigentum
der norwegischen Staatsbahnen.

Tourist stamps
There are no trains, rolling stocks, railway lines or even tracks to be seen on the
stamp. But the old gravel road seen on the stamp is called "Rallarvegen" (= The Navvy
road). The road was built by hand in the late 19th century as part of the construction of the railway line between Oslo and Bergen. As the name suggests the
"Rallarvegen" dates from the time gangs of navvies used it as a road during the construction of the Bergen
railway. For the conveyance of men and materials during the building phase of the most mountainous sector of the line. Norwegian State Railways still owns the
"Rallarvegen".
